Introduction

To keep Social Connect a professional, respectful and safe space, we expect all users to follow these guidelines at all times during which they use the platform.

Respectful Behavior

  • Treat all users with respect and kindness
  • Harassment, extortion, scam, hate speech, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Communicate clearly and courteously.

Honest Representation

  • Sellers must provide accurate descriptions of services, pricing, and availability.
  • No false advertisement claims of qualifications or skills, fake portfolios, or bait-and-switch services.
  • Sellers must not misrepresent their gigs or services. Members must book with real intent and not waste seller's time.

Professional Communication

  • Keep conversations related to services delivery professional. Do not go into unrelated topics that leads to unprofessional behavior or conducts.
  • Do not spam, solicit, or promote third party services, platforms, apps, or websites.
  • Always use the platforms's messaging system for safety, accountability, and record-keeping purposes.

Prohibited Activities

  • Do not use copyrighted content without permission
  • Do not share personal contacts or business phone numbers on Social Connect to use them to solicit business outside Social Connect.
  • Do not use Social Connect to solicit for gigs, services or business and move outside to complete the same services you advertised and started communication with the buyer on Social Connect outside the platform.
  • All adult services, pornographic contents, gambling, sale of illicit drugs, stolen products or intellectual properties, children & sex trafficking or recruiting services are allowed on Social Connect.
  • No illegal, criminal, or restricted services are allowed on Social Connect.
  • Social Connect Works with the Law Enforcement to support public safety. Anyone found in engaging in criminal or illegal activities on Social Connect will be reported to the Law Enforcement and appropriate Governmental agency.
  • No sharing of misleading information, offensive and violent ideologies, or explicit materials are allowed on Social Connect. Anyone found to engage in any of these will be removed from the platform.

Consequences of Violation

  • Warnings might be given for minor violations.
  • Permanent account bans may follow serious offenses without prior warning.
